April 5 gathering and others

This is our plan:

Make-up class / special gathering for flash: April 5 (Thursday) 6 p.m. at Dr. Lo's home. Address: 8218 Greenbrier Dr. San Antonio, TX 78209. Home phone: 210-320-2893

Field trip for flash: April 20 (Friday) 6:30 p.m. (No day class on that day) at the Amphitheater next to Pearl Brewery near Riverwalk. Dress up for photos!

Also, we will have some reading homework to do for the Easter holiday. I forgot to mention to you on last Friday two important articles you need to read. It is already posted on the ACES. Go to our class files section, you should see "video_value" and "freelance_prospect." These two articles have just published on Newsphotographer magazine and are two must read articles for our class. We will have a quiz on them on April 13.

Together with the "flash101" document (on ACES "flash" folder) we introduced in class, you should have a few hour's pleasure in reading during the holiday.  We will have a quiz on "flash 101" on April 13 too.

Finally, do not forget your flash assignment which is listed at the end of "flash 101" document, it is also due on April 13.

You do not need to bring anything to my home on April 5. But I will need someone to help me bring those heavy lighting equipment to my place. Arrange with me if you need a ride. I will probably leave the office around 5 p.m. on that day.
